How this works.

A music trivia night on Google Meet — read this once, then forget about it until Sunday.

    Press record

    RSVP on the homepage with your name + email. If you're hosting or joining a listening party with mates, tick that here too.

    An hour before showtime, the link lands

    Roughly one hour before 6:00 PM AEST on Sunday, you'll get the Google Meet link by message. Keep your phone in reach.

    Set up two devices, ideally

    The best experience uses both:

    • Laptop / desktop Open Google Meet — watch and listen to the show here.
    • Phone Open mixtape30.com/tonight — that's where you'll sign in, take a selfie, and lock in answers.

    One device works too — you can run everything on a laptop, or just play on your phone. But two is way nicer.

    Sign in with the same email

    The email you RSVP'd with is your sign-in. No password. No code. Just type the same email on the play page and you're in.

    If a few of you are watching together on one couch, only one needs to RSVP — add the others as "sharing this device" and you'll play as a team.

    Play, lock in, climb the charts

    Each round opens automatically on your phone when James kicks it off. Type your answers, lock each one in (no going back), then watch the live leaderboard between rounds.
